The rich harmonies and velvety vocals
of newcomers, “The Harringtons,” are compared to the famous Forester
Sisters and Andrews Sisters. Their powerful live performances, strong-harmony
arrangements, and extraordinary songwriting are showcased regularly at venues
throughout the Southeast. Along with country-rock band, Showdown, their concerts
have included opening for Sawyer Brown at Georgia's Southern Star Amphitheater
and for Kathy Mattea at Atlanta's Fox Theatre.
Cindy Lou Harrington, an award-winning
singer/songwriter and acoustic guitarist with five independent albums released
through Atlanta-based GOC Records, Inc., is joined on stage by her two daughters
Brittany (age 18) and Taylor (age 15). Known for versatility in genres from
country-rock, to pop, blues, swing, and gospel, their first album is scheduled
for release through Southern Tracks Records, by the Lowery Group, Atlanta.
