Since I’ve gotten over you

I’ve paid my dues now I’m through

So many roses, washed by the rain

My tears have fallen no longer in vain

So much emotion was clouding my eyes

Grey skies are over and now I realize

I’ve got a new view of blue, I’m over you

I buy my own roses, I write my poetry

Now I am finding what I mean to me

Why was I hiding from the world for so long

There’s more than one apple,

There’s more than one song,
